AA4K SPRING 2022 MUSICAL
rEHEARSALS start the week of March 7TH
Join the Acting Academy team this Spring for some Ogre-sized fun as the greatest fairy tale never told comes to life in a whole new way in this breathtaking Broadway musical adaptation of the hit movie Shrek!
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Casts meet once a week, plus two Saturday rehearsals (March 26, & April 30th). We will also have an all cast dress/tech day on Sunday May 15th. As of now, masks will need to be worn by students and staff as well as audiences.
We will update this policy as the CDC guidelines change.
Our traditional main stage shows have 11 weeks of instruction with two final performances at our very own Z Playhouse in
Mission Viejo WITH A LIVE AUDIENCE!!!
Now that live audiences are back, we will resume our mandatory Parent Volunteer signups to help out during show week, show day, with props or concessions, unless you opt out and pay the opt out fee of $100.
It takes a village! A signup sheet will be posted during the first week of class.

If you miss more than 2 rehearsals, your role is subject to re-casting at the sole discretion of the director.
All casts are subject to a minimum enrollment. Without a minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel any cast. We also reserve the right to change the theme of the show based on the Academy's discretion. Lastly, we reserve the right to change the location of any cast at any time due to availability. If CDC guidelines change during the rehearsal process, we may convert in-person casts to virtual rehearsals temporarily to keep the show progressing toward the performance.

SAfety measures AT REHEARSALS
- Due to the current surge, all students and staff members must wear masks. We may update this policy following CDC guidelines in the future.
- Actors should continue to bring water bottles to rehearsals.
- Hand sanitizer is provided at our facility.
