Melanie has been performing onstage since the age of 10, when she fittingly got her start at a theater summer camp! She has a Bachelor of Arts in Drama with emphasis in Musical Theatre from UC Irvine, and made her off-Broadway debut in 2013 in the original musical comedy “Bemidji” playing the role of Deedee. Some of her favorite roles include Rosemary Pilkington (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Jo March (Little Women), Kristin (Disney’s On The Record), and the Wicked Witch of the West (Wizard of Oz), and she’s also performed in the entertainment departments at The Disneyland Resort and Knott’s Berry Farm. Melanie loves cultivating new generations of performers by teaching performance skills and instilling a passion for theater and art to her students!
