AA4K SPRING 2024 MUSICAL
rEHEARSALS start the week of March 4th
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.

REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Casts meet once a week, plus two weekend rehearsals TBD.
Our traditional main stage shows have 14 weeks of instruction with two final performances at our very own
Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo!!!
We have updated our mandatory Parent Volunteer program – folks can help out during show week, show day,
with props or concessions, or may choose to opt out and pay the opt out fee of $100.
It takes a village! A signup sheet will be emailed during the rehearsal process.

AUDITION WORKSHOP
SUNDAY, MARCH 3rd @ 3:00-5:00pm
Join Miss Sammy and Miss Lauren for some audition prep. Come practice reading/acting the sides and singing the songs that you will be performing on audition day. This is chance to become more familiar with the songs, as well as get helpful personalized tips to prepare for your audition. The cost is $45 and the workshop is NOT mandatory to join the production.

If you miss more than 2 rehearsals, your role is subject to re-casting at the sole discretion of the director.
All casts are subject to a minimum enrollment. Without a minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel any cast. We also reserve the right to change the theme of the show based on the Academy's discretion. Lastly, we reserve the right to change the location of any cast at any time due to availability. If CDC guidelines change during the rehearsal process, we may convert in-person casts to virtual rehearsals temporarily to keep the show progressing toward the performance.
