Julia started out doing children's theater productions at the age of 9, starring in shows such as Annie, Grease, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, as well as countless musical reviews. At 10, she began taking acting lessons, and at 13, began taking classical voice lessons. Upon entering ninth grade, Julia was admitted to Orange County High School of the Arts into the opera conservatory. While there she had the pleasure of performing at both the main theater and the concert hall at |
Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Disneyland, and back-up for Susan Egan, as well as various recitals, choral concerts, and opera scenes. Julia graduated from California State University Fullerton with a bachelors in child development and a minor in music.
Julia also has plenty of experience working with kids. She worked as a summer camp counselor at the Jewish Community Centers in Irvine and Long Beach and at Acting Academy for Kids, as a teacher aide in various classrooms, and at Storymakery in Irvine where she taught creative writing to kids.
