AA4K FALL 2024 MUSICAL
rEHEARSALS start the week of AUGUST 26th
Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella is a musical written for television, but later played on stage, with music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. It is based upon the fairy tale Cinderella by Charles Perrault. The story concerns a young woman forced into a life of servitude by her cruel stepmother and self-centered stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a princess and finds her prince.
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Casts meet once a week, plus two weekend rehearsals TBD.
Our traditional main stage shows have 14 weeks of instruction with two final performances at our very own
Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo!!!
We have updated our mandatory Parent Volunteer program – folks can help out during show week, show day,
with props or concessions, or may choose to opt out and pay the opt out fee of $100.
It takes a village! A signup sheet will be emailed during the rehearsal process.

If you miss more than 2 rehearsals, your role is subject to re-casting at the sole discretion of the director.
All casts are subject to a minimum enrollment. Without a minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel any cast. We also reserve the right to change the theme of the show based on the Academy's discretion. Lastly, we reserve the right to change the location of any cast at any time due to availability. If CDC guidelines change during the rehearsal process, we may convert in-person casts to virtual rehearsals temporarily to keep the show progressing toward the performance.
