Cheryl Coker
Communications Manager

Cheryl Coker began her friendship with Stephen Zygo when he was her daughter Jillian's 4th grade teacher. Together they stepped in to rescue a school production of The Music Man which had suddenly lost its director. When Stephen started Acting Academy for Kids, Cheryl jumped in as a volunteer to help build the program. She initiated and designed the commemorative playbills for each musical theatre production. When AA4K created the Ladera Ranch School Musical, uniting students from all four Ladera Ranch schools, Cheryl became production manager for their Peter Pan production. In that role she handled all the logistics and communications for the project, including the design of a innovative production website.
In the summer of 2012 after hundreds of volunteer hours, Cheryl took on the official role of Communications Manager. In that role, she manages the program logistics and schedules for summer camps, the musical theatre series and instrumental, dance, vocal and acting offerings. She also handles the AA4K websites, emails, voicemail and assists with growth opportunities.
