rEHEARSALS start the week of DECEMBER 2nd
The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Casts meet once a week, plus two weekend rehearsals TBD.
There are no rehearsals over the Christmas/New Year
Winter Break - December 21st-January 5th
Our traditional main stage shows have 14 weeks of instruction with two final performances at our very own Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo!!!
We have a mandatory Parent Volunteer program – folks can help out during show week, show day, with props or concessions, or may choose to opt out and pay the opt out fee of $100. It takes a village!
A signup sheet will be emailed during the rehearsal process.

If you miss more than 2 rehearsals, your role is subject to re-casting at the sole discretion of the director.
All casts are subject to a minimum enrollment. Without a minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel any cast. We also reserve the right to change the theme of the show based on the Academy's discretion. Lastly, we reserve the right to change the location of any cast at any time due to availability.
